National Honor Society Gazebo Project

Thanks to the generous donations from many local businesses and residents, the National Honor Society students from Butler High School were able to complete their year-long project at the North Jersey Community Animal Shelter in Bloomingdale.  With the donated funds, they were able to purchase a gazebo and beautify the grounds with new soil, plants, and mulch.  The students were also able to donate approximately 500 cans of dog and cat food.  The NHS chapter is especially indebted to Glenwild Garden Center, Mike’s Feed Farm, Walmart of Kinnelon, and BHS teacher Lynne Ormay and her husband, Steve, for all of their time and financial support.
