Alert Settings – Tips

Families and Staff:  As you know, we use an alert system for many communications.

The general categories for these communications include:

High Alert: These communications may include school closings, early dismissals, delayed openings etc.  When we issue this communication, it should include all communication methods you have set up in the Alert system.  This will include phones, text, and emails.

Announcement alerts: This type of alert will be sent to any devices that you have indicated. These types of announcements are used by the district only occasionally.

EMAIL alerts: Increasingly, we send email communications to our families and staff. We urge you to supply us with an email so that you can receive communications this way. These alerts are non-emergency general announcements only.
