Fields Update

Butler Public Schools

Steady progress is being made on the Athletic Field Referendum project despite of the tremendous amount of spring rain we have had. The retaining block wall, adjacent to Pearl Place and Maybe Avenue,  is almost complete.  The size, location and shape of the all-weather track is becoming more clear.  Work will soon begin on the "refreshment stand" building and rest rooms.  It is also expected that work on the footings for the Butler home blue and gold bleachers will  begin soon.  The district would like to thank the Borough of Butler for its continued cooperation and assistance; the old press box on Memorial Field was recently removed through their generous efforts.  Check back often for more updates.
