  • The Butler School District Humanities Department is proud to offer students a rich and well-rounded education in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and World Languages that will help them understand the human experience. Through our curriculum, students will learn how to think critically and communicate effectively in an ever-changing society. It is our goal to prepare young people with the foundation and preparation they need for the future.

Mrs. Suzanne Greco, Humanities Supervisor

The 2021-2022 school year will be Mrs. Greco’s third year in the Butler School District. As Humanities Supervisor, she is responsible for overseeing the English Language Arts, Social Studies, World Language Departments K-12 as well the district Gifted and Talented Programming. Prior to coming to Butler, Mrs. Greco served as Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction in Franklin Lakes. Prior to that Mrs. Greco was a middle school teacher and instructional coach in Randolph. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Rutgers University. She earned her Supervisor and Principal certification through NJEXCEL.  Mrs. Greco is passionate about all aspects of teaching and learning, and she is committed to helping students achieve success in and out of the classroom. Outside of school, Mrs. Greco enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
