The Butler School District is committed to  ensuring that all students are receiving the best and most appropriate  instruction possible. Our collective goal is for your child to be challenged appropriately in the pace and depth of English Language Arts and Mathematics courses in which he/she is placed.  To honor this commitment, we offer an Accelerated Grade 7 Mathematics course, a Grade 8 Algebra I course, and an Honors Grade 8 English Language Arts course for students. Here are the criteria used to identify students for these courses.
